someone once asked me why I always had circles in my work - something that I hadn't really been aware of.  But once I started to look back,  even to my very first embroidered pieces in the early 70s - there they were.  There is something very satisfying about a circle, whether it be a perfect sphere, a spiral, naive in shape, etc.,  and this series took my love of the shape to another level for me.
